What You Will Do *
- Collaborate cross-functionally to review inventory trends, identify gaps, and drive actions to achieve inventory and financial targets.
- Develop and maintain Material Planning (MP) parameters in accordance with Effective Material Planning (EMP), Inventory Entitlement (IE) standards, and enterprise policies.
- Provide MP parameter inputs to Master Data Planners, including MRP Types, Minimum Order Quantities (MOQ), Lot Sizes, Lead Times, Safety Stocks, and other relevant planning parameters.
- Support inventory forecasting through input/output models, reason codes, and analysis of inventory inaccuracies, including trapped and stranded inventory across Raw Materials, Work in Progress, and Finished Goods.
- Manage inventory entitlement levels, prepare inventory rollups, and provide executive-level insights, summaries, and KPI analyses to support business decision-making.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen inventory management, improve forecast accuracy and reporting, close process gaps, shorten cycle times, and streamline cross-functional handoffs.
- Track inventory performance against financial plans in collaboration with Finance and support the SIOP process through development and maintenance of inventory plans.
- Develop scenario plans for special events and business disruptions, such as supplier disruptions, strikes, pandemics, and other significant events, and coordinate with Supply Chain teams to quantify potential business and shortage impacts using Kinaxis.
- Manage forecasting processes for production-planned purchased parts, establish appropriate planning strategies for special stock, and provide oversight of Non-Conforming Material (NCM).
- Analyze inventory risks, trends, and opportunities and translate findings into actionable recommendations for Supply Chain and business leaders.

Qualifications You Must Have *
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Experience in material planning, inventory management, supply chain, or a related function.
- Working knowledge of MRP concepts, inventory planning, forecasting, and material planning parameters.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex inventory and supply chain data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working with ERP/MRP systems.
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and drive actions to completion.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Qualifications We Prefer *
- Experience in an aviation, aerospace, manufacturing, or other complex supply chain environment.
- Experience with Kinaxis or other advanced supply chain planning platforms.
- Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems.
- Experience with Effective Material Planning (EMP), Inventory Entitlement (IE), SIOP, or similar inventory management standards.
- Experience managing MRP parameters such as MRP Types, MOQ, Lot Sizes, Lead Times, Safety Stocks, and Reorder Points.
- Experience with inventory financial planning, Excess & Obsolete (E&O), inventory accuracy, and inventory reduction initiatives.
- Knowledge of Raw Materials, Work in Progress, Finished Goods, Special Stock, and Non-Conforming Material processes.
- Experience in scenario planning, supply chain risk assessment, and business continuity planning.
- Strong data visualization, reporting, and presentation skills.
- Lean, Six Sigma, APICS/ASCM, or other relevant supply chain certification is an advantage

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.
Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). If you live within a reasonable commute of an RTX site with other colleagues you interact with, your manager will discuss whether there is a degree of onsite presence associated with this role.
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
Requires theoretical to advanced knowledge of work area typically obtained through University Degree combined with experience. Practical knowledge of RTX projects, programs
or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work.
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience.
Engineering/Other Technical Positions:Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics(STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
