As a Senior Inventory Reconciliation Analyst, you will be part of a dynamic group dedicated to enhancing the accuracy and reliability of inventory data through sophisticated analysis and accounting practices. In this pivotal role, you'll drive the integration of data analytics with inventory accounting to identify discrepancies, optimize inventory levels, and improve financial reporting. You will not only identify and resolve inventory inaccuracies but also proactively recommend processes and technologies to prevent future discrepancies. By fostering collaboration in your team and across departments, you'll enhance inventory management practices, contributing significantly to operational efficiency and profitability. Your valuable insights will guide the team in leveraging data analytics to inform decision-making, driving continuous improvement in inventory accuracy, and supporting the
organization's financial objectives.
About You:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Business/FInance
Qualification - CA/CMA/CIMA/CPA
in with a strong understanding of inventory management and data analytics.
8+ years of experience in inventory management, finance, or accounting, with at least 2 years in a leadership role, preferably within a retail or distribution environment.
Proven track record of managing teams that utilize data to drive business decisions.
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate, guide, and develop a team of professionals.
Technical proficiency in data analysis and handling large datasets, including SQL and one or more scripting languages (R, Python preferred).
Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), especially as they relate to inventory.
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities, with a strategic mindset focused on operational efficiency and financial accuracy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of working collaboratively
across teams and to articulate complex information to stakeholders at all levels.
Experience in process improvement, with a keen interest in technology and its application to streamline inventory management practices.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and organizational goals.
Flexibility and adaptability to evolve with changing business needs and challenges, maintaining a proactive and innovative approach to inventory reconciliation.
