The Instructional Designer, Sr Analyst is responsible for the strategic design, development, and evaluation of high-level instructional materials and complex curricula. Moving beyond basic course creation, this role serves as a multimedia specialist, producing professional-grade video content, graphic assets, and interactive learning experiences. The Senior Instructional Designer works with internal and external partners to drive the department's visual and educational strategy. This position works under minimal supervision, acting as a project lead and mentor while collaborating closely with Executives, Program Managers, and Technical Support.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Develops, designs, and manages courses and curriculum, ensuring alignment with the team’s vision.
Collaborates with subject matter experts to determine the focus of material and develop accurate, high-impact course content.
Designs comprehensive learning activities and assessments to measure knowledge transfer and retention.
Analyzes, updates, and refines existing content in line with best practices and user surveys.
End-to-end video creation, including writing scripts, filming, lighting, audio recording, and post-production editing.
Creates high-quality visual assets, infographics, and branding elements to support training materials and internal communications.
Creates advanced computer-based training (CBT) modules and storyboards using rapid authoring tools and custom graphic design.
Creates engaging learning experiences and environments that go beyond standard slide-based learning.

Job Qualifications
7 to 10+ years of experience in Instructional Design, with a specific portfolio demonstrating video and graphic design proficiency.
Deep knowledge of instructional theory, including assessment and models such as ADDIE or SAM.
Proficiency with learning management systems (LMS) such as Cornerstone.
Proficient in Google Products and MS Office programs, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical learners.
Must have the ability to read and write English
Educational and Technical Requirements
BS, MS, or higher degree in instructional design, graphic design, media production, or related field.
Expert-level experience with design platforms such as Articulate Storyline, iSpring, and Camtasia.
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (specifically Premiere Pro, After Effects, Firefly, Photoshop, and Illustrator) or similar professional design software (Canva, Figma, AI Tools).
