Job Description

Senior Technical developer with experience in JAVA, Hibernate, JavaScript and AngularJS. Candidate should be technology-oriented, forward-thinking individual. The candidate should be a team player who places great emphasis on collective achievement within his/her team and who possesses strong interpersonal skills and a demonstrated. Ability to handle multiple priorities and sustaining a high level of performance when under pressure.

Candidate will be responsible for developing and JAVA projects and miscellaneous tasks while ensuring commitment and quality through to completion. This highly responsible position involves using established work procedures to analyse, develop, maintain, re-engineer and troubleshoot critical application, with a focus on scalability, maintainability, security and performance.

Key skills:

• Experienced & Proficient in Core Java/Advanced Java/J2EE Technologies, JSP, JavaScript and AngularJS
• Experienced & has an understanding of architectural principles and frameworks (MVC, Spring and Hibernate are mandatory)
• Knowledge in Software design, object-oriented design and implementation techniques
• Sound knowledge of SQL Server, SQL queries and Stored Procedures
• Experienced & has a good understanding of Webservices/REST services
• Understanding of code repository tools like SVN, GitHub etc.
• Ability to quickly understand technical specifications and code independently
• Excellent debugging skills; able to debug complex technical issues involving multiple system components
• Good troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Knowledge on Ant, Jenkin, JMeter are an added advantage
• Works collaboratively with other project team members and independently on assigned tasks and deliverables with minimum supervision
• Has excellent written and verbal communication skills
• DXC POINT IN product experience is preferred
• Knowledge of US Property and Causality (P&C) Insurance is preferred
• Candidate should be flexible and need basis he/she needs to extend their working hours
