Assist in the development and implementation of ad hoc operational reports/queries as required by business partners, ensuring that all data is valid and accurately displayed. Assist in the design and maintenance of reporting processes based on performance and production statistics (current/actual and historical). Support business partners in the development and maintenance of applicable system tables to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Responsibilities
• Provide data and analytical support to Customer Service Departments by assisting in the preparation of standardized reports and ad hoc analyses.
• Analyze Key Performance Data to identify trends and communicate findings to management. Identify discrepancies, gaps in measures making recommendations for adjustments as needed.
• Develop and monitor KPIs that help drive revenue.
• Research and analyze current Customer Service BI department reporting practices to streamline/eliminate manual reporting through the creation of automated processes and recommend improvements to DM and Supervisors.
• Collaborate with IT (Data Warehouse Group) to assist in the development of the data warehouse (houses all information on parts/service objectives, sales, etc.) for reporting and streamline the reporting through reporting systems (Cognos, ADW, Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
• Review and provide trend analyses for annual target setting process
• Support various business partners, including program managers who develop initiatives and technology used at dealerships in the service drive.
• Assist in identifying opportunities for acquiring data.
Qualifications
Required:
Education: Minimum 3 years' relevant experience; Bachelor's degree (accredited school) in a quantitative field such as business, finance, statistics, or mathematics
Preferred:
0-3 years (total) of experience in the following areas:
• Automotive Industry (after-sales and/or parts are a plus)
• Business Intelligence
• Data Analytics
• Market Research
• Statistics
