About the Job:
The Senior Analyst, Consolidations role is a key contributor to the overall periodic and quarterly consolidations of the operating results for the KFC, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, Habit and YUM Corp Divisions, including topside entries and Currency Translation Adjustment (CTA) analyses. As a Senior Analyst you will be provided with endless opportunities across the global Yum! Business. You will serve as a subject matter expert on historical dollar and FX analysis, support period-end and quarterly reporting, and collaborate with brand Control, External Reporting and other cross-functional teams. The Senior Analyst, Consolidations will report to the Associate Manager, Consolidations and has no direct reports.
You will be required to attend the Louisville, KY office three days per week (Tuesday - Thursday).
Salary Range:
$99,200-$115,000 + bonus eligibility. This is the expected salary range for this position. Ultimately, in determining pay, we'll consider the successful candidate’s location, experience, and other job-related factors.
Period and Quarterly Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain EXT and MKT topsides during each close, help manage topside listing to determine need for reinstatement and/or ensure proper pushdown of entries in coordination with brands
Assist with equity model each period, including reconciliations for various equity accounts
Analyze Currency Translation Adjustment for reasonableness and accuracy; complete CTA and FX summaries each period and quarterly CTA for Cash Flows schedule
Complete historical override analysis and prepare correcting adjustments as necessary
Complete quarterly Accumulated Other Comprehensive Income analysis along with tie-out of pension journal entries and actuarial reports.
Assist with the quarterly SEC filing process as needed, including 10Q/10K tie-out support
Assist with system updates, brand initiatives and various consolidations process controls to pro-actively resolve potential issues and ensure a smooth close process each quarter
Committed to extended workday hours and assisting other team members during financial close, other tight deadlines or crisis situations
Ongoing/Other Responsibilities:
Serve as resource to brands, SSC’s and IT team for various system related questions and issues (e.g. topside push-downs, ad-hoc requests, out-of-balance issues, Process Control status, etc.) to maintain timely reporting
Perform SOX compliance duties, including support of internal audit and external audit efforts
Provide ongoing support for YUM and Brand initiatives and ad hoc requests
Assists with various special projects, including financial analysis as needed
Minimum Requirements:
B.S in Accounting or B.S. in Finance if candidate has significant accounting experience
3+ years of public or private industry accounting experience
Strong Microsoft Excel experience and computer literacy skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Oracle Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), FCCS and JD Edwards
CPA or active CPA candidate Clear and concise written and verbal skills with ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.
