
The School of Dentistry shares the mission of the Oregon Health & Science University to provide educational programs, basic and clinical research, and high quality care and community programs. This position provides high-level executive, operational, and strategic support to the School of Dentistry, Office of the Dean. The position integrates executive coordination, communications, program and event management, and project management to ensure effective operations and engagement across internal and external shareholders. Responsibilities include managing complex executive workflows, planning and advising about strategic programming and events, supporting donor and alumni relations in partnership with the OHSU Foundation, and ensuring alignment, communication, and execution of key projects. The role also serves as a central connector across leadership, departments, and external partners, anticipating needs and enhancing overall organizational effectiveness.
This role requires exceptional tact, diplomacy, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain confidentiality, and collaborate effectively with a wide range of internal and external shareholders in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
