Job Description

play a critical role in leading the planning, execution, and delivery of new gas detection products and technology programs. You will be responsible for driving cross-functional collaboration across R&D, engineering, product management, quality, sourcing, operations, and certification teams to ensure successful product development and commercialization.

Your expertise in project and portfolio management, product development processes, risk mitigation, and stakeholder engagement will be instrumental in delivering innovative gas detection solutions that meet customer needs, regulatory requirements, and business objectives. You will lead multiple development programs from concept through market launch while ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and with high levels of quality and reliability.

You will report directly to the PMO Leader / Engineering Directors / Industrial Automation Leaders, and you'll work out of our Seoul, Korea location.

In this role, you will impact Honeywell's global Gas Detection business by accelerating new product development, improving project execution excellence, and supporting the delivery of industry-leading safety solutions that protect workers, facilities, and the environment worldwide.

  • Support product and project development activities to deliver high-quality, competitive products on schedule through effective planning, scope definition, cost estimation, and execution strategies.
  • Lead projects throughout the entire lifecycle, from concept definition and planning through development, verification, product launch, commercialization, and project closeout.
  • Lead and manage cross-functional project teams to successfully execute projects with budgets exceeding $10M USD.
  • Manage resource allocation and staffing plans to ensure the right skills are assigned to meet project complexity and business objectives.
  • Drive effective communication across project teams, regional execution organizations, customers, suppliers, and channel partners to achieve project goals and promote best practice sharing.
  • Collaborate closely with teams in the U.S., India, China and Europe to maintain global consistency in NPI processes, engineering standards, and project execution methodologies.
  • Provide accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly project status reporting in accordance with established governance and work processes.
  • Concise conversational manners that get straight to the point without unnecessary details.
  • Implement and manage project change control and closeout processes, ensuring all baseline changes are properly documented, approved, and tracked, while capturing lessons learned and driving continuous improvement recommendations.

Must Have:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Have at least 8 years of program / project management experience (wall to wall project delivery experience in Gas detection / Manufacturing / Engineering preferred)
  • Fluent in English - reading, writing and presentation

Preferred :

  • PM related certificate (Ex : PMP, Prince II, Agile related certifications….etc)
  • Have good understanding/experience in manufacturing/IT industry
  • Engineering background is preferred
  • Strong project and program management skills as well as excellent communication skills with good logic
