Job Summary : Network Engineer - Enterprise WLAN
Job Responsibilities : Wireless Operations • Monitor enterprise WLAN services. • Support wireless user connectivity issues. • Troubleshoot authentication failures. • Manage guest wireless services. • Support SSID administration activities. Cisco Wireless Support • Cisco 9800 Wireless Controllers • Cisco Access Points • Cisco Wireless Assurance • Cisco Mobility Services Aruba Wireless Support • Aruba Central • Aruba Mobility Controllers • Aruba Access Points • Aruba AirWave (if applicable) Incident Management • Resolve wireless incidents. • Support L1 team whenever necessary and work closely with the L1 team. • Troubleshoot wireless client issues. • Support roaming investigations. • Escalate RF-related and complex issues to L3. Configuration Management • SSID provisioning • AP deployment support • Controller configuration updates • WLAN policy implementation Monitoring • Aruba Central • Cisco Catalyst Center Assurance • SolarWinds • ThousandEyes Compliance & Reporting • Validate AP health. • Monitor controller availability. • Support firmware compliance activities. • Assist in wireless performance reporting. Required Skills • Cisco WLC 9800 • Cisco Access Points • Aruba Central • Aruba Controllers • WLAN Troubleshooting • WPA2/WPA3 • 802.1X Fundamentals • RADIUS Basics
Skill Requirement : • 3-5 years of Wireless Operations experience. • Experience supporting Cisco or Aruba wireless networks. • Good understanding of WLAN fundamentals.
Other Requirement : • CCNA Wireless / Enterprise • Aruba ACA • ITIL Foundation
