Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and Windows 365 Support Engineer to provide operational support, administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting for Microsoft End User Computing (EUC) environments. The role will be responsible for maintaining highly available and secure AVD and Windows 365 environments, supporting end users, resolving incidents, implementing changes, and collaborating with Microsoft, infrastructure, networking, and security teams to ensure optimal service delivery.

The ideal candidate should possess strong experience in Microsoft Azure, Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows 365 Cloud PCs, Windows operating systems, identity management, and end-user computing technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Provide L2/L3 support for Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and Windows 365 environments.Manage and maintain AVD host pools, session hosts, application groups, workspaces, and user assignments.Administer Windows 365 Cloud PCs, including provisioning, troubleshooting, performance monitoring, and lifecycle management.Monitor environment health, capacity, performance, and availability using Azure monitoring tools.Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to:

• User connectivity
• Authentication and access issues
• Session host performance
• Profile management
• Application delivery
• Resource utilization

Manage FSLogix profiles and troubleshoot profile-related issues.Support Entra ID (Azure AD), Active Directory, and Hybrid identity environments.Perform patching, maintenance, upgrades, and operational changes following change management procedures.Collaborate with networking, security, and infrastructure teams to resolve complex issues.Assist in onboarding new applications and users into AVD and Windows 365 environments.Create and maintain operational documentation, runbooks, SOPs, and knowledge articles.Participate in incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and problem management activities.Ensure compliance with security, governance, and operational standards.Provide on-call support as required.

Skill Requirements

Technical Skills

• 3+ years of experience supporting Microsoft End User Computing environments.
• Hands-on experience with:
• Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)
• Windows 365 Cloud PC
• Microsoft Azure administration
• Strong understanding of:
• Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
• Active Directory and Group Policy
• Hybrid Identity environments
• Experience managing:
• AVD Host Pools
• Session Hosts
• Application Groups
• Workspaces
• Hands-on experience with FSLogix profile containers.
• Knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows 11 administration and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Azure networking concepts including:
• Virtual Networks (VNet)
• NSGs
• VPN/ExpressRoute fundamentals
• Experience with Microsoft Intune and endpoint management.
• Ability to troubleshoot performance, connectivity, authentication, and profile issues.
• Experience with PowerShell scripting for administration and automation.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes including Incident, Change, and Problem Management.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and security best practices.
• Experience with Azure Automation, Logic Apps, or scripting automation.
• Familiarity with Azure Virtual WAN, ExpressRoute, and advanced networking concepts.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration and endpoint security.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Microsoft Sentinel.
• Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (ARM templates, Bicep, Terraform).
• Azure certifications such as:
• AZ-104 (Microsoft Azure Administrator)
• AZ-140 (Configuring and Operating Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop)
• MD-102 (Endpoint Administrator)
• SC-300 (Identity and Access Administrator)
