An academe sector is looking for a Sr. Accounting Manager (CPA)

About the Role

The Sr. Accounting Manager is responsible for managing the accounting operations of the company to ensure effectiveness and efficiency. The role directs, plans, summarizes, and forecasts business activities and financial positions in areas of income and expenses based on past, present, and expected operations.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and direct the preparation of budget and report variances
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and reporting
• Monitor compliance to accounting and company policies and government reportorial requirements
• Monitor cash position and cash flow
• Coordinate and direct preparation of consolidated financial reports

Requirements:

• Graduate of BS Accountancy - CPA Board Passer
• Minimum of 5 years experience in the same role
• Coming from an academe sector
• Strong experience in the overall general accounting functions, including taxation, financial reporting and administration/ management of accounting system
