Summary

General Summary

Works under limited supervision; the Sr Accountant is responsible for executing key general accounting and cost accounting processes to ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with corporate policies, and effective manufacturing cost control. This role supports month-end close activities, local accounts payable operations, fixed asset management, and manufacturing finance by analyzing production costs and inventory transactions. The ideal candidate combines strong accounting fundamentals with analytical skills and a continuous improvement mindset, leveraging technology to automate reporting and improve process efficiency

Position Qualifications

• Minimum education and experience: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
• + 5 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in General Accounting is required.
• Experience supporting manufacturing operations is highly preferred.
• Experience with Fixed Assets and Accounts Payable processes is required.
• Experience with SAP ERP is required; experience with Coupa is preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, Power Query, lookup functions, and data analysis.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems, with experience developing automated reports and financial dashboards.
• Advanced English proficiency, both written and verbal.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, accountability, and the ability to effectively prioritize multiple deadlines. • Continuous improvement mindset with the ability to automate manual processes using digital tools and technologies. • Comfortable learning and implementing new digital tools and technologies. • Strong business partnership and communication skills. • Team player with a proactive attitude. • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
