Our award-winning client is seeking an Sr. Accountant to join their team.The Senior Accountant is responsible for supporting the Director of Accounting by performing a variety of accounting tasks, including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial analysis. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
Reconcile balance sheet accounts and prepare journal entries.
Record payroll and accruals.
Analyze and record prepaid expenses.
Maintain fixed asset and lease accounting records.
Perform variance analysis and provide insights into financial performance.
Support the annual audit process.
Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
1+ years of accounting experience.
Strong understanding of US GAAP.
Experience with ERP systems, such as Sage Intacct.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Skills and Competencies:
Knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and ERP systems.
Ability to analyze financial data and identify trends.
Ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Strong time management and prioritization skills.
