Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Senior Accounts Manager to join our team and oversee account management for our real estate development projects. This role is critical in managing financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, and supporting strategic financial decisions. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years experience in account management within the real estate industry and a proven track record of managing accounts for large development projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage financial operations for real estate projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
• Ensure accuracy in general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and monthly/annual closings
• Prepare and review financial statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports for senior management and stakeholders
• Handle accounts receivable and payable processes, ensuring timely payments and accurate invoicing
• Monitor project budgets to ensure cost control and support in the development of financial strategies
• Coordinate with internal teams to provide insights on project profitability, financial performance, and risk management
• Manage financial audits by preparing necessary documents and liaising with external auditors
• Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations and accounting standards

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is preferred
• Minimum 4 years of experience in account management, specifically within the real estate development sector
• Strong understanding of UAE accounting regulations and real estate industry financial practices
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks) and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent analytical skills with a detail-oriented approach and the ability to handle complex financial data
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with various departments

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with project accounting for large-scale real estate developments
• Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools
