Sr. Ab Initio Developer

Location: Dallas, Texas

Pay Rate: $45.00 per hour

Position Overview

A global technology firm seeks a Senior Ab Initio Developer for a six-month onsite contract in Dallas, Texas. This role designs and builds high-performance data integration and ETL solutions for enterprise data platforms in complex, high-volume environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Ab Initio graphs and workflows for data extraction, transformation, and loading
• Optimize ETL processes for performance, scalability, and reliability
• Collaborate with data architects to define pipeline design patterns and standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve data integration issues in production and development environments
• Document technical specifications, data flows, and operational runbooks
• Support data quality validation and reconciliation processes

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on Ab Initio development experience
• Strong ETL and data integration background in enterprise environments
• Experience working with large-scale, high-volume data platforms
• Ability to work onsite in Dallas, TX

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Ab Initio EME (Enterprise Meta>Environment)
• Knowledge of Big Data platforms (Hadoop, Spark, or cloud-native equivalents)
• Exposure to data warehouse or data lake architectures
