This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr 3D Art Generalist - Brookhaven based in Canada.

This is a senior 3D art role focused on creating and delivering high-quality assets for a large-scale, continuously evolving Roblox experience.
You’ll help shape environments, houses, props, tools, gameplay content, and other visual assets while maintaining a distinctive and consistent art direction.
The role combines hands-on asset creation with technical art expertise, quality ownership, and collaboration across art, design, and game development teams.
You’ll review other artists’ work, provide actionable feedback, and help guide execution against visual, technical, and performance standards.
Because the game operates at significant scale, you’ll balance creative ambition with optimization, integration requirements, and real-time performance constraints.
The ideal candidate is both an accomplished 3D artist and a thoughtful technical problem-solver who can elevate content without compromising the established visual identity.
This is a fully remote opportunity suited to an experienced artist who enjoys autonomy, collaboration, and creating content experienced by millions of players.

• Review the work of other artists within assigned areas and provide clear, actionable feedback to drive iterations toward the required quality standard.
• Own the end-to-end production of assigned 3D assets, including houses, props, tools, environments, gameplay content, and SFX/VFX when required.
• Take assets from initial brief and concept through modeling, texturing, optimization, integration, polish, and final delivery.
• Partner closely with the Art Lead to align on artistic direction, conduct reviews, identify ambiguity, and proactively surface production risks.
• Coordinate and manage execution across designated content areas, ensuring visual consistency, technical quality, performance-budget compliance, and timely delivery.
• Evaluate asset requests and design documentation before production, identifying pipeline, implementation, or technical considerations that could affect delivery.
• Collaborate with designers, engineers, artists, and other game-team members to resolve visual bugs, integration challenges, and polish requirements.
• Ensure assigned content remains production-ready and shippable throughout development.
• Apply strong creative judgment to improve asset requests and introduce thoughtful artistic enhancements while remaining aligned with established direction.
• Contribute technical art expertise to help maintain efficient, scalable, and performance-conscious production workflows.
• Support the development of other artists through constructive feedback, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Strong professional expertise creating performant 3D assets within Roblox Studio, with a thorough understanding of real-time optimization practices.
• Professional experience in a creative production environment, or equivalent experience gained through freelance work or independently developed projects.
• Deep understanding and appreciation of the established Brookhaven visual style, with the ability to reproduce and extend it consistently.
• Advanced 3D modeling capabilities, including clean topology, UV unwrapping, baking, and optimization for real-time gameplay.
• Strong knowledge of texturing workflows and material creation appropriate for Roblox and real-time environments.
• Demonstrated ability to bridge artistic and technical considerations, ensuring assets satisfy both visual expectations and gameplay requirements.
• Portfolio demonstrating high-quality Roblox environmental work, such as houses, map locations, event spaces, or collaboration areas.
• Portfolio showcasing strong technical-art thinking and performance-aware asset creation.
• Strong artistic instincts and attention to detail, with the ability to enhance assets while respecting established creative direction.
• Ability to communicate clearly, receive and provide constructive feedback, and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment while managing priorities and meeting production deadlines.
• Availability to work full-time and must be 18 years of age or older.
• Experience with animation or rigging is an advantage.
• Experience with Substance Designer or advanced material workflows is a plus.
• UI/UX asset creation experience is beneficial.
• VFX or SFX creation experience is also considered an asset.
• Familiarity with tools such as Roblox Studio, Blender or Maya, Substance Painter, Photoshop or equivalent software, Marmoset Toolbag, and ZBrush or equivalent.
