This is a remote position.

Must Have:

  SQL Server DBA
• 
  SQL Server performance tuning
• 
  Query optimization and execution plans
• 
  Indexing strategies
• 
  Monitoring waits, locks, and blocking
• 
  ETL performance optimization
• 
  SQL performance monitoring tools

Responsibilities:

• 
  Diagnose and resolve immediate SQL Server performance issues
• 
  Analyze execution plans, indexing, waits, and resource utilization
• 
  Monitor SQL Server performance trends and identify bottlenecks
• 
  Optimize SQL queries and ETL workflows for performance
• 
  Provide findings and technical recommendations for remediation
• 
  Support ongoing performance tuning on an ad hoc basis

Qualifications:

• 
  Proven experience as a SQL Server DBA in performance-critical environments
• 
  Strong hands-on expertise in SQL tuning and optimization
• 
  Deep understanding of ETL processing and performance considerations
• 
  Ability to engage immediately for urgent production issues
