Job Description

Helprise is an organization that combines global reach with local talent. We work for companies that value quality, partnership, and responsibility, creating teams that really work. By precisely matching skills and business needs, we connect specialists with projects where their knowledge has a real impact. By joining us, you become part of an environment where matching is not a coincidence, but a decision.

Today we are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical SQL Data Analyst to support compliance-related data initiatives in a dynamic, international environment. This role is focused on delivering high-quality data insights across a wide range of compliance processes, including reporting, audits, and monitoring activities.

You will work across complex data ecosystems, extracting and validating data from multiple sources while ensuring accuracy and consistency. This position is ideal for someone who is curious, resourceful, and comfortable navigating ambiguity, changing requirements, and evolving data logic.

YOU WILL

  • Provide ongoing data support for compliance-related reporting, monitoring, audits, and ad hoc analytical requests;
  • Extract, transform, and analyze data using SQL across multiple systems and data sources;
  • Investigate data structures, query logic, and reporting requirements to ensure accurate and reliable outputs;
  • Perform thorough data validation and quality checks, challenging existing logic where needed;
  • Identify discrepancies, inconsistencies, and data gaps, and take ownership of resolving them;
  • Adapt to evolving data environments, recognizing when historical logic or assumptions are no longer valid;
  • Work with various reporting and analysis tools to support dashboards and data deliverables;
  • Contribute to reporting workflows, including spreadsheet-based analysis and lightweight dashboard solutions;
  • Manage multiple requests in parallel, balancing priorities and meeting tight deadlines;
  • Build understanding of business processes and data flows to continuously improve data quality and efficiency;
  • Document recurring logic, data sources, and processes to support knowledge sharing and scalability;
  • Collaborate with stakeholders while maintaining the ability to work independently on assigned tasks.

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience with SQL (must have);
  • Experience working with cloud-based data platforms (e.g. data warehouses or similar environments);
  • Advanced skills in Excel or Google Sheets, including complex formulas, data validation, and reporting;
  • Experience working with reporting or dashboarding tools;
  • Ability to navigate complex data environments with multiple data sources and dependencies;
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities;
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail;
  • Ability to independently validate data and assess the correctness of outputs;
  • Comfort working in fast-paced environments with ambiguity and evolving requirements;
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines;
  • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with modern BI or dashboarding tools
  • Familiarity with lightweight data visualization or app-based reporting solutions
  • Experience in compliance, risk, audit, or regulated environments
