Do you want to lead Supplier Quality Engineering in an environment where quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement are central to success? We are looking for a confident and driven leader to take overall responsibility for Supplier Quality Engineering within Critical Care.

About this role

In this role, you will lead a team of Supplier Quality Engineers and Incoming Inspection Technicians, ensuring strong supplier quality performance, effective ways of working, and close collaboration across the organization. You will play an important role in securing the quality of manufacturing processes at suppliers while supporting business objectives, compliance, and long-term development of the function.

Key responsibilities

• Be a member of the Critical Care Sourcing & Supplier Management team
• Lead and manage the Supplier Quality Engineering function
• Have direct responsibility for a team of Supplier Quality Engineers and Technicians within Incoming Inspectio n
• Secure the quality of manufacturing processes at Critical Care suppliers
• Organize and drive strategic supplier quality activities within Critical Care
• Manage, prioritize, and distribute work within the function
• Ensure effective resource and budget planning within Supplier Quality Engineering
• Drive competence development and performance management for the team
• Continuously improve methods, tools, and ways of working to increase quality and efficiency
• Allocate and coordinate resources to support R&D and Product Care projects
• Ensure Supplier Quality Engineering is aligned with Getinge’s global Critical Care quality and regulatory directives
• Establish strong cooperation with suppliers to support effective communication and continuous improvement

What you bring

You are a structured and proactive leader with a strong quality mindset and the ability to create clarity, engagement, and accountability in your team. You enjoy combining operational leadership with strategic development and are comfortable working cross-functionally in an environment with high expectations on quality, compliance, and delivery.

You build strong relationships, communicate with confidence, and have the ability to drive improvements both internally and externally.

As ideal for the position you have a degree in Engineering together with experience from Production and/or Production Engineering and/or Product Development.

Further, some of your key characteristics include:

• knowledge of different production techniques
• Good knowledge and experience from electronics and mechanics
• Experience in quality- and problem solving tools
• Experience from systematic process development work/Compliance
• Full proficiency in Swedish and English
• Build relationship with suppliers why travel is expected
