Job Description

Duties include, but not limited to, the following:

  1. Deploy APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) related to the development phase (or in current production) of Bought-Out Parts following SNS’s purchasing requirements.
  2. Give recommendations &/or technical decisions to ensure a defect-free process through program management
  3. Manage the process qualification (trial run at rate & process audit).
  4. Follow the APQP progress with the status report and takes decision in collaboration with the program team
  5. Train the suppliers and make sure that the defined standards are properly applied.
  6. Monitor the Production Part Approval before the transfer to the plant including Run@Rate.
  7. Manage action plans with suppliers in case of deviations.
  8. Manage the reporting according the rules of SNS for the APQP program progress.
  9. Works closely with the internal Quality Engineer and Program to ensure customer satisfaction.
  10. Works closely with Manufacturing to ensure supplier part quality continues to meet or exceed manufacturability requirements.
  11. Develops, implements and monitors supplier Development plans for helping supplier before start of production and suppliers with quality or delivery issues after start of production

Qualifications

Preferred Education and Experience:

  1. Bachelor degree in engineering with a specialization in Quality
  2. Minimum 5 years experience as an SQE in automotive industrial environment
  3. Familiar with Stamping/welding/E-coating process.
  4. Results oriented with strong written and oral communications skills
  5. Ability to work in a matrixes organisation
  6. International mind set
  7. Minimum bi-lingual (English mandatory)
