
The script supervisor is relied upon heavily by department heads, producers, and directors to keep track of everything that is in the script, both in the day to day and overall running of the production. Script Supervisors ensure that continuity errors are avoided by monitoring and reporting on various aspects of a production. This maintains continuity between different shots and scenes. Script supervisors work mainly with the script editor and director, but also communicate with various departments to ensure continuity.

Screen Queensland is the Queensland Government-owned agency dedicated to growing a successful screen industry in the state. The agency supports locally produced films, series and digital games, and secures international and interstate production and post-production into Queensland. It also runs initiatives to build skills and careers for local screen practitioners, and funds film festivals and industry events and conferences. Screen Queensland also operates Screen Queensland Studios in Brisbane and Cairns.
