Job Qualifications :
a) A Subsea X Tree Engineer will hold an honours degree in Mechanical or Civil or Structural or Subsea Engineering from University. The degree must contain a thorough grounding in the theory and techniques of structural engineering.
b) Min 10 years working experience in subsea X-tree area production facility (subsea) construction and Installation, the experience gained shall be in a similar role and the candidate shall have a strong construction engineering background and have demonstrable yard leadership skills.
c) Must have experience working for a major subsea equipment supplier, preferably subsea trees.
d) Experience with the design of sub-sea tree blocks (master valve block, production wing block, etc.), valves, and tubing hangers.
e) Prior experience in new product development and/or R&D; qualification activities to API requirements is preferred.
f) Experience with concept layouts, detail design layouts, generate/check/approve the actual manufacturing drawings, understand the drawings required for the manufacturing process, material selection considerations, NDE that should be called out on manufacturing drawings, and independently perform design calculations to justify their design.
g) Experience in using SOLIDWORKS, AUTOCAD and other design software.
