Go Safer Security Now Hiring Sprinkler Technician

Location: Maryland
Job Type: Part-Time / Subcontractor (1099)

We are seeking a skilled Sprinkler Technician to join our team. This role focuses on water-based fire suppression systems, ensuring all installations and repairs meet safety and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, test, and repair sprinkler piping, valves, and heads
• Perform water flow testing and preventive maintenance
• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications
• Ensure compliance with NFPA 13, NFPA 25, and local plumbing/fire codes
• Work independently or with a team on commercial and residential projects

Qualifications

• Prior experience with sprinkler systems required
• Strong mechanical skills (cutting, threading, hanging pipe)
• Knowledge of fire protection codes and safety practices
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
• NICET certification preferred (not required)
