About the position

Our team is seeking a dynamic individual to support our sustainability organization, which specializes in value creation, environmental stewardship, and leading the sustainable aviation future.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct research on best practices, emerging trends, and regulatory requirements
  • Assist in preparing reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Help implement sustainability projects (e.g., recycling programs, energy efficiency initiatives)
  • Help organize sustainability awareness campaigns or events
  • Support communication efforts with employees, vendors, and community partners
  • Support the sustainability team with day-to-day operations

Preferred Skills

  • Research experience
  • Data analysis and interpretation
  • Report writing and documentation

Education and Other Requirements

  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in one of the following disciplines:
    • Sustainability Engineering
    • Environmental Science
    • Aerospace Engineering, focus in Sustainability/Environmental Science
    • other related disciplines
  • Must be available to work on-site in Savannah, GA during the Spring and Summer 2027 semester, beginning in January to August 2027.
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 (without rounding); must be listed on resume.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:Essential Functions: Perform other duties as assigned.Other Requirements:
  1. Enrolled as a full-time student at time of application, actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree or above.
  2. Complete their freshman year by the time the internship starts.
  3. Cumulative GPA of 3.0 (without rounding); must be listed on resume.
  4. Minimum 12-14 week requirement (summer); 14-16 week requirement (spring and fall).
  5. Must be onsite; this is not a remote position.
  6. Must have reliable transportation.
