The Hickory Foundation YMCA is looking for dynamic, hardworking and enthusiastic individuals who would like the opportunity to work with a team of people to make a positive difference in the life of children in the sports department at the Hickory Foundation YMCA. This individual would be responsible for assisting in the planning, developing, and execution of all programs offered in the sports department. Must be reliable and a positive role model and consistent with Christian mission and the policies set forth by the YMCA of Catawba Valley

Our staff is caring, competent, and experienced.

Our membership is 25,000 strong and spread across our two Catawba County facility locations. At the Catawba Valley YMCA, we aren't just a fitness center. We have full-day childcare, summer camps, after-school care, and school enrichment programs for all school-aged children. We offer youth and adult sports year-round, with over 3,500 youth participating annually. Our swimming lessons have taught over 1,000 children how to swim, with hundreds more participating in school water safety programs. We host health screenings, flu shot clinics, and blood drives to help support a healthy community.
