Are you interested in the technology and data behind athlete development? Looking for an opportunity to gain real-world experience in sports performance while working directly inside a professional training environment?

EL1 Sports is looking for Sports Performance Technology Interns to join our Washington team for the 2026–2027 training season.

This is a hands-on opportunity to work alongside coaches, facility leaders, and sports professionals while gaining experience with the technology and data used to support athlete training and development. You’ll help prepare and manage performance technology, support athlete data collection, troubleshoot equipment, organize performance data, and see firsthand how technology is incorporated into day-to-day sports training.

We are looking for interns to support two regions:

North: Seattle & Redmond

South: Tacoma & Puyallup

Candidates will primarily support facilities within one region and should have reliable transportation between their assigned locations.

EL1 Sports is a national youth sports training company dedicated to empowering athletes, coaches, and communities through high-quality instruction, innovative programming, and best-in-class training environments.

As an official youth baseball and softball training partner of Major League Baseball, EL1 operates training facilities and programs across the country with a focus on creating meaningful development opportunities for athletes at every level.

Technology is becoming an increasingly important part of how athletes train, measure progress, and develop. This internship gives you the opportunity to experience that intersection of sports, technology, and athlete development firsthand.

What You’ll Do

As a Sports Performance Technology Intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience supporting performance technology and athlete data collection across EL1 training facilities.

You’ll have the opportunity to:

• Set up, calibrate, operate, and break down sports performance technology and equipment.
• Support athlete testing, assessments, and data collection sessions.
• Work alongside coaches and facility staff to help ensure technology is ready for scheduled training and assessment sessions.
• Upload, organize, and maintain athlete performance data.
• Assist with troubleshooting technology and equipment issues.
• Help maintain technology equipment and inventory across assigned facilities.
• Support software, hardware, and technology updates.
• Assist with technology implementation, testing, and special projects.
• Help develop and maintain internal technology processes and documentation.
• Gain exposure to how performance data and technology are used within a growing sports organization.

Who We’re Looking For

You don’t need to be an expert in sports technology on day one. We’re looking for someone who is curious, dependable, detail-oriented, and excited to learn.

You may be a great fit if you:

• Are a current student, recent graduate, or someone looking to build experience in sports technology, sports science, kinesiology, data analytics, information technology, or a related field.
• Have an interest in sports performance, athlete development, technology, or data.
• Enjoy learning new software, hardware, and technology platforms.
• Are organized and pay close attention to details.
• Communicate well and enjoy working as part of a team.
• Are comfortable taking initiative and working independently after receiving training and direction.
• Have reliable transportation and can travel between facilities within your assigned region.
• Have an interest in baseball or softball. Previous playing or coaching experience is a plus, but not required.

• Paid internship at the applicable minimum wage based on work location. The current 2026 Washington minimum wage is $17.13/hour; hours worked within Seattle city limits will be paid at the current Seattle minimum wage of $21.30/hour. Applicable rates will be adjusted in accordance with state and local requirements when new minimum wage rates take effect.
• Opportunity to gain experience within EL1 Sports, an official youth baseball and softball training partner of Major League Baseball.

Internship Details

Dates: October 19, 2026 – February 26, 2027

Schedule: Part-time; schedule will vary based on facility programming, athlete assessment sessions, and operational needs.

North Region: Seattle & Redmond, WA

South Region: Tacoma & Puyallup, WA

Work Environment: In-person at EL1 Sports training facilities. This position may involve standing for extended periods and moving, setting up, and breaking down technology equipment.
