
He angitūtanga: The opportunity
You’ll be joining a team with a passion for getting people active through participation in play, sport and recreation. As a Sports Facilities Investment Advisor, we want you to develop and manage an investment programme which is delivered by the sport and recreation sector and established council partners including ngā mana whenua ō Tāmaki Makaurau. You’ll also be responsible for managing key relationships across council, ensuring an integrated and aligned approach to sports facilities investment.
This role will be worked flexibly between the office, home & the community.

This role is critical in bridging council’s investment into sports facilities with the needs of the sport and recreation sector. It brings to life council’s plans and policy for play, sport and recreation while using a diverse partnership approach to delivery. By working closely with the community and sector, this role programmes and advises the best approach to deliver value for money through targeted investment.
