Job Category: Media - Journalism - NewspaperWe have a part-time sports clerk positions available with the Telegraph Herald based in Dubuque, Iowa. Our sports clerks prepare and input sports information within the newspaper and our online products.
The qualified candidates must be able to work up to 12 hours per week and be available after 3 p.m. with occasional weekend work.

QualificationsSuccessful sports writer qualifications:
- high school diploma or equivalent,
- basic understanding of most sports,
- familiar with technology (mobile devices, common computer programs, Internet),
- excellent command of the English language,
- propensity for accuracy,
- ability to meet deadlines,
Experience with page design software, editing, headline writing and interviewing desired.
