About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Sports & Recreation Trainee to support our school’s physical education, wellbeing, and community programs in Swifts Creek

This is a part time (30hrs per week) hands‑on, energetic role perfect for someone who loves sport, being outdoors, and building positive relationships with students of all ages.

You will work alongside experienced educators and community partners while completing a nationally recognised qualification within a small rural school at the foot of Mount Hotham.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Assisting with PE classes, sports sessions, and lunchtime activities
  • Setting up and packing down sports equipment and learning spaces
  • Helping run school sporting events, carnivals, and community recreation programs
  • Supporting student wellbeing through inclusive and active play
  • Contributing to school administration tasks related to sport and recreation
  • Promoting healthy lifestyles and positive participation
