Support the planning and delivery of sponsorships, corporate hospitality, business development events and major internal staff events that contribute to International Wealth and Premier Banking (IWPB) growth and brand outcomes. In parallel, provide high-quality executive support to the Head of IWPB and the broader executive team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and effective stakeholder coordination.
Key responsibilities
• Support end-to-end planning and delivery of sponsorships and events, including major corporate hospitality, business development events and internal staff events
• Support delivery of local sponsorship and event activity aligned to Marketing strategy; assist with measurement and Return On Investment Reporting
• Support the maintenance of event/sponsorship procedures, playbooks and delivery standards, including third-party vendor management
• Support relationship management with partner organisations, rights holders, agencies and suppliers to deliver events and activation programmes
• Coordinate communications and messaging with Marketing and Communications (including events/Public Relations/internal/external communications where required)
• Support budget management and tracking of spend across sponsorship and event activity
• Provide diary, meeting and action management support for the Head of IWPB; coordinate across the executive team as required
• Triage enquiries, route actions to the right teams, and track follow-up to closure
• Review and quality-check communications, reports, speeches and presentations
• Arrange travel and accommodation; manage expenses and day-to-day office administration
• Act as a trusted point of contact/gatekeeper and handle sensitive information with discretion
Skills & experience
• Degree (or equivalent) preferred.
• 5+ years’ experience in events/sponsorships/marketing activation and/or executive support in a complex organisation.
• Strong project management, stakeholder management and vendor/partner management capability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; confident engaging senior stakeholders.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
• Highly organised, detail-focused, proactive, able to work with minimal supervision.
• Flexibility to work irregular hours during peak event periods.
