Have you ever wondered what happens behind the scenes to make radio work? The split-second timing, the sponsorships that land perfectly in the right break, the campaigns that reach millions of listeners without a single missed spot. At Acquire Intelligence, we work with some of Australia's biggest broadcast networks to make that precision possible. You'll be part of a team where attention to detail matters, where your work has a direct and audible impact, and where no two days look exactly the same.

As Sponsorship Team Leader, you will lead the day-to-day delivery of sponsorship operations across the networks, ensuring campaigns are executed accurately, on time, and to broadcast standards.

You’ll oversee booking integrity, production coordination, sponsorship audio readiness, reporting, and system governance while supporting and developing a high-performing sponsorship operations team.

Working closely with Sales, Creative, Production, Programming, and Airtime Operations, you’ll play a critical role in delivering seamless sponsorship experiences heard by audiences across some of Australia’s leading radio brands.

YOUR DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage the end-to-end operational delivery of sponsorship campaigns across the network

• Lead and coordinate daily workload allocation across the Sponsorship team

• Review and maintain booking accuracy across Campaign Boss, Aquira, and associated systems

• Build, update, and finalise weekly Production Grids across assigned networks

• Coordinate sponsorship recording sessions and confirm audio readiness ahead of broadcast

• Conduct sponsorship audio checks and validate script alignment and material accuracy

• Manage sponsorship-related communications and follow up on missing creative or script requirements

• Oversee material instruction processing and ensure all campaigns are instructed ahead of airtime deadlines

• Maintain sponsorship governance processes, reporting, and operational documentation

• Produce reporting for sponsorship campaigns, bonus credits, and operational tracking

• Support system updates, testing, and operational improvement projects

• Act as the escalation point for sponsorship operational issues and provide guidance to team members

• Drive process improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and broadcast accuracy

A BIT ABOUT YOU

• Demonstrated experience in broadcast sponsorship, airtime operations, media traffic, or radio operations environments

• Previous experience in a leadership, senior operations, or supervisory role

• Strong working knowledge of systems such as Campaign Boss, Aquira, or similar media platforms

• Experience working with operational reporting tools such as Power BI, Oracle, or equivalent systems is advantageous

• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities and deadlines

• Exceptional attention to detail across bookings, scripts, audio, and campaign execution

• Confident communicator who can collaborate effectively across Sales, Creative, Production, Programming, and senior stakeholders

• A proactive and solutions-focused mindset with the ability to identify and implement process improvements

• Strong people leadership capability with experience supporting team development and performance

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook and Excel
