Sponsorship Manager


The Sponsorship Program Manager leads operational systems and administrative workflows to support key organizational initiatives. This role supervises operations staff and manages the end-to-end application, onboarding, and funding tracking processes for sponsorship programs. By leveraging data-driven insights and fostering strong partnerships with internal stakeholders, the Program Manager ensures efficient program execution, enhances donor relationships, and strengthens overall organizational impact.

Essential Duties:

Oversees operational systems, processes, and workflows supporting key organizational initiatives while coordinating the associated administrative work.

Supervise and support operations staff responsible for program administration, donor coordination, and data management.

Manage the program application and onboarding process, including nominations, application review, participant coordination, and payment setup.

Education and Experience:

  • Facilitate onboarding and participation processes for sponsored programs, staff, and program participants.

  • Maintain program databases and oversee tracking of participant, donor, and funding data across sponsorship programs.

  • Support leadership decision-making and communicate program impact by creating and leveraging reports, dashboards, and program updates.

  • Partner with internal and development staff to support strong donor relationships, including coordinating updates, impact reporting, and appreciation efforts.

  • Track donor commitments and giving patterns, ensuring accurate allocation of funds to program participants, resources, and staff.

  • Monitor sponsorship funding levels, including received, pledged, and expiring gifts, and maintain visibility into current program funding needs.

  • Collaborate with organizational leadership, stakeholders, and field teams to identify operational improvements, support fundraising strategy, and strengthen program impact.

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, preferably in a job related major field of study

  • Minimum seven (7) years of relevant professional experience, including leading and managing initiatives or programs with outcome-focused deliverables, Or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Minimum one (1) year of experience directly or indirectly leading a team

  • program administration, project management, or operations.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with experience presenting to stakeholders.

  • Previous experience or involvement with Young Life or a similar non-profit organization is a plus.

Job Specific Working Conditions:

The anticipated compensation for this position can range from $68,150 - $85,275 depending on relevant education, experience, and location.
