Splunk Platform Operations & Production Stability
Own end-to-end production support for a highly distributed Splunk Enterprise and Splunk Cloud environment
Manage and support search head clusters, indexer clusters, deployers, deployment servers, heavy forwarders, and universal forwarders
Ensure platform availability, resiliency, scalability, and overall performance
Lead incident response, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and service restoration activities
Identify and remediate performance bottlenecks, capacity constraints, and operational risks
Perform system tuning and implement proactive measures to maintain platform health
Security Log Ingestion & SIEM Enablement
Partner with Information Security and SOC teams to ensure reliable ingestion of security logs
Onboard and normalize new data sources while maintaining CIM compliance and SIEM best practices
Configure and optimize props.conf, transforms.conf, index-time, and search-time processing
Support creation and maintenance of dashboards, alerts, reports, and searches for threat detection and investigations
This is a Contract position based out of Richmond, VA.
The pay range for this position is $70.24 - $70.24/hr.
