Job Description

The Financial Modeling and Analysis Specialist (TBC) supports the preparation and recommendation of investment projects for Europe’s Regional and Local market executive teams. The Specialist performs recurring business and financial analyses to track financial and operational performance of such projects, providing data-driven insights and dashboard reporting to support Local and Regional management teams’ decision-making and implementation of corrective actions.

The role involves preparing business plans and financial analyses, critically assessing key hypotheses, ensuring compliance with calculation methodology and profitability parameters, assessing risks, opportunities, and implications of investment decisions. The role requires collaboration with functional teams beyond Finance, including Sales, Operations, and Legal, and staying current on business developments that impact the company’s financial and operational performance. Scope is primarily Spain and France but may be extended to other ATC Europe markets on ad-hoc basis.

  • Support the preparation and delivery of financial analyses and models for various business partners (Country/Region/Corporate, as required), especially those related to new business opportunities and investment requests.
  • Utilize Company’s reporting structures, templates, and tools for day-to-day tasks, including financial models, sensitivity analyses and project presentations following ATC valuation methodology and reporting standards (e.g. discounted cash-flow models, IRR/ROIC/NPV/payback and organic growth calculations, US vs. local GAAP reporting).
  • Calculate profitability and financial impacts from the projects on the Region’s and Country’s financial plans (Forecast, Budget, Long-term plans), collaborating with the FP&A team for plan updates.
  • Support the review of contractual documentation derived from new business opportunities, ensuring compliance with business plan assumptions and financial reporting requirements.
  • Monitor and follow up on approved commercial projects, ensuring compliance with financial hypotheses and impacts, identifying risks, opportunities, and deviations, and proposing corrective actions.
  • Provide financial data and support the preparation of internal approval request and operational review materials, typically involving deal executive presentations and corresponding financial models, deal lookback analyses and ad-hoc management reporting.
  • Support ad-hoc projects and other financial analyses as required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in financial modeling, analysis, or similar position.
  • Experience in financial modeling, project management, and industry trend analysis.
  • Fluent in English required, Spanish/French preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of office tools, especially MS Excel and PowerPoint.
