Spiral Binding Operator - TNB

Hours: Monday thru Friday : 4:45 PM - 1:15 AM plus Overtime
A Spiral Binding Operator is a highly motivated individual who drives customer success by ensuring the superior quality of all produced documents in the Spiral Binding Production workflow. The spiral coil binding method uses a spring-like coil to join the book’s cover and pages as a unit that allows the pages to turn freely. Spiral Bound books lie flat for hands-free reading, making Spiral Binding a great choice for instruction, school books, repair manuals, cookbooks, handbooks, guides, and other reference materials. Spiral coils come in a variety of diameters to accommodate books of varying thicknesses.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and comprehend the job instructions (QA Checklist), which may include: general instruction, special Instructions, and change orders
- Understand the SpiralBinding Workflow for completing customer’ orders
- Responsible for completing other product workflow finishing services as required
- Meet or exceed production goals set by the management team
- Ensure adherence to all documented processes and procedures
- Others tasks as assigned
Skills Knowledge & Expertise
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
- Must be dependable, flexible and have the ability to work overtime with little or no notice (required)
- Entry-level computer experience (required)
- Patience and focus with high attention to detail (required)
- Able to manage time efficiently to meet hourly goals (required)
- Minimum of 6 months experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
- Ability to perform tasks that require hand-eye coordination as well as dexterity
- Focused on accomplishing a given task. Must be goal-oriented and organized
