As a Spine Specialist,you’llbe responsible forclinical surgical coverage and sales support activities of VB Spine customers in a designated area.

WhatYou’llDo:

  • Represent and cover Spine surgical cases professionally,efficientlyand effectively.
  • Able to succinctly articulate the proper use of surgical instruments and implants to surgeons, nurses, and sales representatives.
  • Process instrument sets and paperwork efficiently and promptly
  • Maintain a high and increasing knowledge of our instruments, implants, surgical techniques, and procedures.
  • Keep Sales Representative(s) and Regional Manager informed of territory happenings and progress on a regular basis.
  • Provide support to territory as needed bySalesRepresentative and Sales Manager.
  • Remains informed of new products and other general information of interest to customers; monitors and gathers information on competitive activity.
  • Manage andmaintaininventory.
  • Attend andparticipatein sales meetings, training programs, conventions, and trade shows as directed.
  • Assistin execution of Local, Regional and National Medical Education events.
  • Complete all required and requested reports correctly andsubmitina timelymatter.

What You Bring:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent,required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree from a4 yearaccredited college or university, preferred.
  • Surgical Technologist certificate or nursing degree, preferred.
  • Mastery of spinal anatomy and anatomical landmarks necessary to instruct a surgeon on the use of VB Spine products.
  • Three (3) years’ experience in a clinical and/or operating room environment, preferred
  • Excellent organizational, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build rapport,developandmaintainrelationships.
  • Strong teamplayer with the ability to work harmoniously with a diverse workforce.
  • Ability to travel to all accounts within assigned territory, as directed by Sales Manager.
  • Must be able to lift and carry multiple surgical trays (minimum 24lbs).
  • Must be available on24-hour per day basis, to respond to customer emergencies.
  • This position requires the handling of instruments that may have been contaminated by blood or other bodily fluids. In compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations, VB Spine will provide a safe working environment for all employees.

Compensation:
Pay for this role is competitive and based on experience, with additional factors like territory requirements, qualifications, and performancetaken into account. The typical pay range for this position is$90,000 – $95,000annually, withpotential forbonuses and incentivesplusbenefits.

VB Spine reserves the right to offer compensation outside of this listed range. Final compensation isdeterminedon acase-by-case basisand considers a variety of factors including experience level, skillset, and market conditions.
