Responsibilities:
As the Spent Bleaching Earth Supervisor, you will lead shift-based operations, ensuring the successful execution of production targets while championing a culture of safety and continuous improvement. You will be a key player during the project, commissioning, and operational phases.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership: Drive the day-to-day operations of the Spent Bleaching Earth division, ensuring 100% ownership of safe production and resource allocation.
Project & Commissioning: Support the project team in facility operability, maintainability, and early-stage integration into Commissioning and Start-Up (CSU).
HSE Excellence: Act as a Safety Champion, managing high-risk processes involving Hexane and explosive solvents. Lead shift safety meetings and ensure 100% compliance with PTW (Permit to Work) systems.
Maintenance & Reliability: Implement agreed maintenance strategies and routines to ensure maximum plant availability.
Continuous Improvement: Assist the Manager in developing strategic plans for CI, QMS, and Green Energy objectives.
Team Mentorship: Coach and influence operators to implement industrial best practices and maintain high competency levels.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience in industrial plant operations. Direct experience in Solvent Extraction or handling Hexane/Explosive solvents is highly preferred.
Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of Process Safety Management (PSM), ATEX/Ex-Proof standards, and Quality Management Systems (QMS).
Project Savvy: Proven track record in plant commissioning and operational readiness.
Leadership: Strong ability to manage teams in a shift rotation environment and influence safety behaviors.
Communication: Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia is essential for technical reporting and stakeholder management.
