An established Darwin private practice is looking for a Speech Pathologist to join their paediatric team on a permanent basis. The caseload is varied, the families are genuinely engaged, and the clinical work matters — the Northern Territory's paediatric SP workforce is small, and every clinician who joins it makes a tangible difference to what's available for local kids.

• Paediatric caseload spanning early language, school-age communication, literacy, articulation, social communication, AAC and feeding
• Mix of clinic-based sessions, school visits, in-home therapy and telehealth
• Realistic caseload agreed with your clinical lead — not driven by billable-hour targets
• Full admin, scheduling and billing support so your day stays clinical
• Structured weekly supervision (new grads and early-career clinicians) and monthly-plus for experienced SPs
• Established relationships with local paediatricians, OTs, psychologists and schools for cross-referral and joint care
• Modern rooms, sensory-friendly setup, and a well-stocked resource library

• Salary $85,000–$120,000 + super, benchmarked to experience (graduates through senior clinicians all considered)

About you:

• AHPRA registration as a Speech Pathologist (new graduates through senior clinicians all considered)
• Australian work rights (skilled migration pathways available for the right international candidate)
• Genuine interest in paediatric work and family-centred practice
• Comfortable across assessment and intervention; interest in a specialty area (feeding, AAC, literacy, autism support) welcomed but not required
• Ochre Card (NT Working with Vulnerable People clearance), or willingness to obtain
• Cultural humility and openness to working with families from diverse backgrounds, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families and the Territory's large multicultural community
• Openness to the Top End way of life
