Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center seeks a part-time Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist to join our large rehabilitation team. This position involves evaluating and providing therapy for medically complex pediatric patients, from birth to 18 years old, with a wide range of diagnoses. The Speech Language Pathologist will develop and implement effective treatment plans, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and offer counseling to patients and families to support long-term outcomes. The position has the opportunity to serve both the inpatient and outpatient settings, dependent on candidate experience and departmental needs. Our ideal candidate would have some pediatric hospital experience, a strong background in dysphagia, VFSS/FEES exposure or experience, though all are encouraged to apply.
Joining the Speech-Language Pathology team at Dartmouth-Hitchcock means you will work closely with a large speech team with diverse areas of specialty. Our pediatric speech team provides some of the highest quality services in northern New England, and has conducted interdisciplinary research that has changed practice patterns in our Intensive Care Nursery. Our supportive leadership prioritizes practice improvement initiatives as well as structured mentorship and comprehensive training.
