Job Description

  • Speech Pathologist — Bacchus Marsh, VIC
  • Full-time, Part-time or Contractor | $80,000 – $115,000 + super (based on experience)

About the opportunity
A well-established, NDIS-registered allied health provider is expanding its clinical team and seeking a passionate Speech Pathologist for its Bacchus Marsh clinic. The role is designed with variety in mind - approximately 60–70% of sessions are delivered in-clinic, with the remaining 30–40% seeing clients in their homes and community settings across Melbourne's western and north-western suburbs. You'll join a genuinely supportive multidisciplinary team that includes OTs, behaviour support practitioners and allied health assistants, all committed to person-centred, evidence-informed practice.

About Bacchus Marsh
Bacchus Marsh is a growing peri-urban township approximately 50 km west of Melbourne CBD, tucked at the foot of the Great Dividing Range and known for its historic Avenue of Honour, orchards and Werribee River valley landscape. It has become one of Victoria's fastest-growing communities, drawing families seeking excellent schools, established services and lifestyle affordability, with easy Western Freeway access to both Melbourne and Ballarat. For a Speech Pathologist, this translates to a strong, steady NDIS referral base, a genuine community feel at work, and the kind of lifestyle that's increasingly hard to find within the metropolitan boundary.

Your caseload

  • 100% NDIS participants
  • Predominantly paediatric with some adult clients (early language, AAC, articulation, social communication, fluency)
  • Mix of assessment, intervention and family/caregiver coaching
  • Working closely with OTs, behaviour support practitioners and allied health assistants

What you'll need

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech Pathology
  • Current Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) membership / Certified Practising Speech Pathologist status
  • Minimum 1–2 years' post-graduate clinical experience preferred (new graduates with strong placement backgrounds considered)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Working with Children Check
  • Current Australian driver's licence and reliable vehicle (for community visits)
  • Full Australian working rights

What's on offer

  • Competitive salary of $80,000 – $115,000 + super, based on experience
  • Flexible engagement — full-time, part-time or contractor
  • Balanced clinic/community caseload — variety every week
  • Well-equipped clinic with dedicated therapy rooms and resources
  • Genuine MDT collaboration, not just co-location
  • Structured professional development and supervision
  • Warm, values-driven leadership team
