Peninsula Post Acute is seeking a compassionate and motivated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our in-house rehabilitation team on a PRN basis.

Key Responsibilities
Evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, and swallowing disorders.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive clinical evaluations.
Perform clinical swallowing evaluations and implement evidence-based dysphagia management strategies.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including evaluations, daily treatment notes, progress reports, and discharge summaries.
Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, dietitians, therapists, residents, and families to support optimal functional outcomes.
Educate residents, caregivers, and staff on communication strategies, swallowing precautions, and home programs.
Participate in interdisciplinary care conferences and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology.
Current California Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in good standing.
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship candidates (CFYs) are encouraged to apply.
Strong organizational, communication, and clinical skills.
