Compensation: $50.00–$60.00 per hour

Join Our Rehabilitation Team

McClure Post Acute is seeking a compassionate, knowledgeable, and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our rehabilitation team on a PRN basis. If you're passionate about helping residents improve their communication, cognition, and swallowing abilities while working in a collaborative post-acute environment, we'd love to hear from you.

As a valued member of our interdisciplinary team, you will evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans that promote functional independence and improve quality of life for our residents.

What You'll Do

  • Evaluate residents to determine speech, language, cognitive, voice, and swallowing needs.

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on physician orders and resident goals.

  • Provide evidence-based therapy to improve communication, cognition, swallowing safety, and overall functional outcomes.

  • Monitor resident progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.

  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, rehabilitation professionals, residents, and family members to ensure coordinated care.

  • Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation.

  • Participate in interdisciplinary care plan meetings, rehabilitation conferences, and discharge planning.

  • Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques, home programs, and aspiration precautions.

  • Assist with staff education and provide clinical in-services as needed.

  • Supervise Clinical Fellows (CFY) and Speech-Language Pathology students when applicable.

  • Maintain compliance with all facility, state, federal, and professional practice standards.

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.

  • Current, unrestricted California Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license.

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.

  • Clinical Fellows (CFY) are encouraged to apply if eligible for supervision.

  • Skilled nursing or post-acute care experience is preferred but not required.

  • Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong commitment to providing compassionate, resident-centered care.
