Key Responsibilities

Assessment & Diagnosis

• Evaluate speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in children.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to inform individualized treatment planning.

Treatment Planning & Delivery

• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans using evidence-based techniques.

• Utilize a naturalistic, play-based approach to engage children in meaningful learning experiences.

Family & Caregiver Collaboration

• Educate and coach families to support carryover and communication success at home and in the community.

• Maintain open communication with parents, caregivers, and other team members regarding progress.

Team Collaboration

• Partner with a multidisciplinary team (BCBAs, OTs, psychologists, and educators) to ensure integrated, holistic care.

• Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and professional development initiatives.

Documentation & Compliance

• Complete assessments, progress notes, and reports accurately and on schedule.

• Maintain compliance with clinical, ethical, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Education Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.

• Licensure: Current and valid SLP license through the Arizona Department of Health Services (or eligibility in {State}).

• Experience Prior experience working with children in clinical, educational, or therapeutic settings preferred.

• Skills Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration abilities.

• Certifications

• Current CPR and First Aid certification.

• Must successfully pass a criminal background check and obtain a DPS Class One Fingerprint Clearance Card.

• Physical Requirements Ability to lift, carry, and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, sitting on the floor) for extended periods; must move quickly to ensure client safety.
