Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations using standardized and dynamic assessment tools to determine eligibility for services under IDEA, Section 504, and state standards
• Develop and implement individualized education programs and 504 plans with measurable, functional, and academically relevant goals
• Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services across language, articulation, fluency, voice, and social communication domains
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of student progress, treatment effectiveness, and session data
• Collaborate with special education, general education, and administrative staff to embed language-learning strategies across the school day
• Participate actively in IEP and ARD meetings and contribute clinical expertise to placement, progress monitoring, and eligibility decisions
• Maintain ASHA-compliant caseloads and ensure adherence to state and federal special education regulations

Required Qualifications

1. Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from a CAPCSD-accredited program
2. CCC-SLP from ASHA Valid, unrestricted Florida SLP license or ability to obtain within 30 days

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 or more years of school-based SLP experience. New graduates welcome.
• Knowledge of RTI and MTSS frameworks Experience with AAC and assistive technology
• Experience with autism spectrum disorder and complex communication needs
Bilingual fluency: Spanish or Haitian Creole highly valued
