Adelphi is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) and/or Clinical Fellow (CF) to provide speech-language assessments, therapy, consultation, and related services to students within a school setting in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The provider will support students with identified communication needs and deliver services in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), applicable state and federal requirements, and professional standards.

Requirements

• Current State of New Mexico license or applicable credential to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist and/or Clinical Fellow.

• Current New Mexico Public Education Department licensure for K-12 Speech-Language Pathology and/or Clinical Fellow services.

• Completed application for a Medicaid Provider Number or an assigned Medicaid Provider Number.

• Appropriate education, clinical training, and professional preparation necessary to provide school-based speech-language pathology services.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments for assigned students.

• Provide direct speech-language therapy services to eligible students in accordance with their IEPs and applicable state and federal regulations.

• Design and implement individualized speech-language therapy services based on student needs and IEP requirements.

• Provide teacher consultation services and appropriate home programs when required.

• Develop evaluation reports, treatment documentation, recommendations, and other required clinical records.

• Monitor student progress and provide progress reports within required timelines.

• Maintain accurate caseload information and student service documentation.

• Complete Medicaid documentation in accordance with required District procedures.

• Complete federal and state documentation governing the provision of speech-language services.

• Participate and collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, special education personnel, and other members of the student's educational team as appropriate.

• Coordinate assigned services and schedules with designated Special Education representatives and school-site personnel.

• Accurately complete required monthly billing, student contact forms, invoice logs, and related service documentation.

• Provide services in accordance with applicable standards of care, professional ethics, and state licensure requirements.

• Maintain confidentiality of all student, family, and District information.

• Maintain required professional licenses, credentials, and compliance documentation throughout the assignment.

• Provide services only for properly authorized assignments issued through the designated Special Education Department.

• Perform other duties as assigned.
