Job Description

Adelphi is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide speech evaluation and speech therapy services in a school setting in San Antonio, Texas. Responsibilities: • Conduct speech evaluations and determine eligibility for speech therapy services in accordance with District standards. • Provide speech therapy services to students with disabilities as determined appropriate by their ARD committees. • Implement students' speech therapy services in accordance with their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). • Develop therapy plans and recommendations for students eligible for speech therapy services. • Use District-approved assessment instruments and complete required evaluation reports and paperwork in a timely manner. • Attend multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student evaluations, eligibility, placement, and speech therapy services. • Provide consultations regarding students' speech and communication needs. • Supervise speech therapy assistants as needed. • Comply with required timelines for evaluations and services under applicable federal law and District requirements. • Maintain required documentation and comply with District standards, policies, and procedures. • Any other duties as assigned.
