Job Description
We are looking for a talented Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the school year. This position will cover a caseload of approximately 40 students between two locations ages ranging from K-21.
Hourly Rate Range: $51.00-$68.00 per hour
Responsibilities would include:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students in one-on-one, small group, and classroom settings.
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of services and student progress.
- Provide consultation and training to staff regarding communication strategies and accommodations.
- Monitor and adjust therapy plans based on student progress.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and district regulations.
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license issued by the Maryland Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathologists.
- Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association preferred.
- Fingerprint Clearance & Background Check required.
