$35.77/hour (entry/new grad minimum)
$44.71/hour (10 years experience)
Up to $49.18/hour (16+ years experience)

We are seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a 523-bed comprehensive acute care hospital in Gainesville, Florida.
This role focuses on evaluation and treatment of communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in an inpatient hospital setting. The SLP will work collaboratively with physicians, nursing, and rehabilitation teams within a structured, well-supported clinical environment.
Conduct comprehensive speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing evaluations.
Perform instrumental swallow studies (MBS and FEES preferred).
Develop individualized treatment plans to support safe swallowing and functional communication.
Provide skilled therapy interventions aligned with evidence-based practice.
Document evaluations, daily notes, progress reports, and discharge summaries accurately and timely.
Educate patients and families on safety strategies, therapy goals, and home recommendations.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care and smooth discharge planning.
Participate in quality improvement and clinical performance initiatives.
Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
Active Florida SLP license.
Minimum 1 year of SLP experience.
Experience with Modified Barium Swallow Study (MBS) and/or FEES strongly preferred.
Clinician comfortable in acute care hospital settings.
Skilled in dysphagia management and instrumental swallow testing.
Strong communicator with collaborative mindset.
Organized and efficient with documentation and workflow management.
