We’re looking for a motivated, compassionate Speech Pathologist who’s ready to make a real impact. At University Health, you’ll work with patients across the lifespan—from newborns to seniors—helping them find their voice, improve cognition, and regain safe swallowing. What You'll Be Doing:
Evaluating patients and building customized therapy plans
Helping patients improve communication, thinking, and swallowing skills
Adjusting treatments based on progress and goals
Educating patients and families to support success at home
Collaborating closely with physicians, nurses, and the full rehab team
Documenting clearly and thoroughly
Supervising speech students and rehab techs as needed
Pitching in on performance improvement projects and department initiatives
Keeping your space safe, clean, and organized
Leading or contributing to special projects and programs
Staying current with professional development and best practices
Supporting a culture of safety, quality, and great patient experiences
What You Need:
A degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
A current Missouri Speech Pathologist License
Either:
Eligibility for your Clinical Fellowship Year, or
Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) from ASHA
Solid written and verbal communication skills
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
