Position Type: Full Time
Job Shift: DayMonday-Friday; 40 hours per week; Benefits Eligible

We are currently seeking candidates to join our team as a Speech Language Pathologist for children birth to age 3.  In this role you will be responsible for providing evaluations and speech therapy for children with delays and/or communication needs to recover, develop or improve independent communication abilities so that the child can reach their maximum independence. Collaborating with other team members, you will:
- Performs speech language therapy services for children in homes/community for Early Intervention services
- Communicates with families regarding child’s progress
- Promotes maximum independence by implementing quality, individually designed treatment plans and activities
- Teaches and trains caregivers by demonstration/modeling of activities and providing a home program when appropriate to promote maximum independence
- Completes required documentation on each child
Applicant general qualifications include:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology required
- Current License to practice Speech Language Therapy in the state of AL.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence or working towards certificate required
- ABESPA and ASHA licenses preferred
- Basic computer skills and use of EMR required
- Experience working in pediatric speech therapy preferred
- Valid driver’s licenses required
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
